What you'll do
- Assist the Head Chef in directing daily kitchen operations, ensuring all dishes are prepared to exact recipe specifications and quality standards.
- Lead by example on the line during peak service hours, maintaining exceptional speed, organization, and food presentation.
- Oversee inventory management, daily food prep lists, receiving, and proper storage to minimize waste and control food costs.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health department codes, food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and kitchen safety standards.
- Take full operational ownership of the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development, seasonal specials, and recipe testing.
- Base Salary: $80,000 – $90,000
