This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a profound impact on your clients' lives. While the majority of your work will be conducted remotely, you will have the opportunity to engage in face-to-face sessions at our outpatient office in Tacoma, providing a holistic approach to therapy. Our operational hours range from 7 AM to 10 PM seven days a week, accommodating diverse client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Holy Family & Marriage Services, your key responsibilities will involve:

• Providing individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs through thorough examinations and evaluations.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic modalities to diverse groups, families, couples, and individuals, ensuring that treatments are effective and appropriate.

• Utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to address various mental health issues.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create a comprehensive care plan, enhancing the overall wellbeing of clients.

• Maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and trust in client relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse population, including adults, adolescents, couples, and families who seek support for a variety of mental health challenges. This includes anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma recovery, and substance misuse. You will foster a therapeutic environment that is inclusive and sensitive to the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, ideally within a clinical setting.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards in mental health care.
