Accounting Manager – Manufacturing | $1B+ Industry Leader | A leading privately held manufacturer and distributor in the corrugated packaging industry is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to join its growing finance team. With over $1B in annual revenue, 600 employees, and rapid expansion across the U.S., this is a great opportunity to join a well-established yet entrepreneurial business in a high‑impact role. About the Role: This is a newly created position, reporting to the Corporate Controller, designed to support growth across multiple locations. You’ll play a key role in overseeing general ledger accounting, cash management, and supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations for the corporate office and plant locations. The exact scope of responsibilities will be tailored based on the strengths of the selected candidate and will complement the existing team. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the monthly close process across multiple plant and corporate entities Oversee bank reconciliations and manage all domestic cash activity Maintain and enhance short- and long-term cash flow forecasting models Provide analytical support and guidance on intercompany transactions, payroll, AP, tax, and other financial obligations Serve as a key player in the implementation and optimization of JD Edwards Partner closely with the Controller to drive operational efficiency and implement process improvements Contribute to special projects, new site openings, and financial operations strategy Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required CPA preferred but not required 5–7+ years of experience in general accounting Experience working in a fast‑paced, high-volume environment Strong Excel and ERP system skills; prior experience with cloud‑based systems a plus Manufacturing or distribution industry experience strongly preferred Hybrid‑ 3 days in office Collaborative, growth‑focused culture with strong work‑life balance (targeting 40‑hour workweeks) Profit‑sharing plan Low‑cost health insurance 401(k) plan Tuition reimbursement (available to employees and their children) #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential
