Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked international law firm seeking a 4th to 5th year Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Los Angeles office on a hybrid basis. This is a confidential opportunity for a litigation associate who is ready to take on meaningful responsibility across complex commercial disputes, including matters where reputational sensitivity, brand impact and business judgment are central to the litigation strategy. The Opportunity The role will involve active responsibility across the litigation lifecycle, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, trial preparation and client communications. The caseload is expected to include a balanced mix of plaintiff side and defense side commercial disputes, including matters where business reputation and public profile require careful strategic judgment. Ideal Candidate Profile The firm is seeking a 4th to 5th year Commercial Litigation Associate with: 4 to 5 years of commercial litigation experience in a sophisticated law firm environment Hands on experience managing complex commercial disputes, including discovery, motions, depositions and trial preparation Excellent analytical ability, drafting skills and attention to factual detail in high value disputes Comfort working on reputational or brand sensitive matters, with experience across plaintiff side and defense side matters valued Why This Opportunity Stands Out The attraction is the combination of an Am Law 200 ranked platform, a substantial litigation docket, direct partner access and meaningful associate responsibility.
