Support students’ growth and classroom success in a rewarding contract role as a Paraprofessional. This opportunity positions you to make a difference for children and educators by providing direct assistance and encouragement every school day.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with children in classroom or educational settings, preferably as a paraprofessional or teaching aide
- Familiarity with classroom procedures and positive behavior strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff
- Patient, organized, and willing to adapt to different learning styles and needs
- Comfortable assisting with academic tasks, socialization, and personal care as required
- Strong communication skills with students, faculty, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on classroom support under the supervision of certified teachers
- Assist in delivering individual or small group instruction
- Guide students in academic, social, and behavioral growth
- Help implement instructional and behavioral plans tailored for each student
- Support participation, inclusion, and independence for all learners
- Supervise students in the classroom and during activities throughout the school day
- Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment at all times
