Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' mobility and functional limitations, while establishing baseline metrics for treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific patient goals, utilizing a range of interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Manage an efficient caseload, typically treating one patient per hour to provide personalized attention and quality care.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, exercise regimens, and preventive measures to support long-term health.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and successful coordination of treatment strategies.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, motivating them to adhere to prescribed exercises and lifestyle adjustments.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify care plans based on evidence-based practices and patient feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. We cater to a diverse demographic, including athletes, active adults, and seniors, each requiring tailored rehabilitation strategies to restore their function and mobility. Our approach is holistic, considering not only physical recovery but also the emotional and psychological aspects of healing.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, along with a clean professional record devoid of disciplinary actions.
• In-depth proficiency in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise protocols necessary for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to document patient care effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of current best practices in physical therapy for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to create and modify fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
