Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate each client's mood disorder, including severity and duration of symptoms, to inform effective treatment planning.

• Collaborate closely with clients in developing customized treatment plans that outline specific goals and preferences for their mental health journey.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring techniques to client needs.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, their treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower informed decision-making.

• Regularly monitor client progress, making timely adjustments to treatment approaches based on client feedback and clinical observations.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure clients receive holistic and integrated care.

• Stay updated with advancements in mood disorder treatment methodologies, adapting your practices to incorporate new findings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at our center, you will work with a diverse population, primarily focusing on individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your role will be critical in providing support to clients navigating these challenges, fostering resilience through compassionate care and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Florida.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and experience in collaborative treatment with psychiatrists.

Compensation and Benefits\n
