Job Summary The Rewards and Loyalty Manager will develop strategies that optimize member lifetime value, premium tier economics, renewal performance and overall membership profitability. While overseeing the execution, and optimization of BJ's Club+ and cobrand credit card acquisition programs across in-club, digital, direct marketing, and partner channels. Working across BJ's teams and external partners, this role will translate business objectives and member insights into campaigns that increase premium-tier penetration, improve conversion, and deliver profitable growth. Key Responsibilities Develop strategies that grow the Club+ and cobrand program across more than 270+ clubs and digital channels, including prescreen, instant-credit, new-club, field incentive, and multi-channel upgrade programs. Maintain strong business insights and identify growth opportunities to improve ROI and premium tier growth acceleration through new channels and partnerships. Own digital acquisition and upgrade journeys across BJ's website, mobile app, email, paid media, and partner channels; work with Product, Technology, and Analytics to improve funnel conversion and the member experience. Set acquisition forecasts and channel goals that balance premium-tier and cobrand growth with cost efficiency, member quality, and long-term value. Lead campaigns from inception to execution. Responsibilities include managing the creative process, audience and segmentation, offer development, approvals, quality assurance, deployment, field communications, and post-campaign evaluation. Manage a test-and-learn roadmap across audiences, offers, messaging, creative, and placements; translating member insights into business recommendations. Measure acquisition volume, upgrades, conversion, cost per acquisition, incremental lift, return on investment, and available renewal-quality indicators; translate results into executive-ready recommendations. Manage BJ's, JMIF, and Mastercard JDF budgets, including planning, forecasting, allocation recommendations, approvals, invoicing, accruals, reconciliation, and variance reporting. Serve as the day-to-day acquisition lead with external partnership aligning plans, funding, deliverables, performance expectations, and issue resolution. Lead cross-functional workstreams and coordinate Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Brand, and bank-partner reviews to deliver compliant programs on time and within budget. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field 8+ years of experience in acquisition marketing, loyalty programs, financial services, ideally within retail, banking or membership-driven industries. At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing digital or omnichannel acquisition programs, including web, mobile, email, paid media, or owned-channel execution. Experience managing end-to-end campaigns, budgets, forecasts, performance measurement, and optimization. Strong analytical, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present results, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders and external partners. Ability to effectively utilize AI-enabled tools, automations, analytics, etc. to create efficiencies and optimize performance. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience supporting cobrand credit cards, payments, banking, loyalty, or another highly regulated marketing environment. Experience working directly with bank partners, payment networks, agencies, or joint-marketing partners. Knowledge of digital acquisition funnels, conversion-rate optimization, segmentation, personalization, attribution, and A/B testing. Experience with field-based acquisition and developing business requirements with Product and Technology teams. Familiarity with customer lifetime value, acquisition economics, portfolio profitability, and renewal or retention indicators. MBA or other relevant advanced degree. This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days. In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
