Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Gulf Bend, you will:

• Conduct individual therapy sessions via video chat, helping clients address their mental health challenges.

• Foster an open and trusting therapeutic relationship, encouraging clients to share their thoughts and feelings to gain insight into their struggles and relationships.

• Assist clients in defining personal and therapeutic goals, acting as a supportive advocate in their mental health journey.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of clients’ mental well-being and develop tailored treatment plans that employ a solution-focused approach based on best practices and your professional expertise.

• Utilize our comprehensive therapist portal to document sessions, access resources, and streamline administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will support are pre-screened, stable individuals with low acuity needs. This intentional selection process enables our therapists to engage deeply in therapeutic work while encouraging client resilience and growth. You'll be matched with clients whose needs align with your areas of expertise and interest, facilitating effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• An independent license in one of the following disciplines, issued by the state of Nevada: \n

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• Proven ability to make informed evaluations and treatment recommendations based on client assessments.

• Excellent interpersonal skills combined with a strong empathetic disposition.

• Proficiency in using technology, with a strong understanding of telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our compensation package offers a sign-on bonus and a salary between USD 90,000 and 104,000 annually, reflective of your experience and hours worked. Full-time counselors enjoy a monthly healthcare stipend to support their well-being. Payment is issued via weekly direct deposit, ensuring you have consistent access to your earnings.
