Work Environment

The physical therapist position is situated within our modern outpatient office, designed to provide a patient-friendly atmosphere conducive to recovery and rehabilitation. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured environment that respects work-life balance. You will have access to advanced therapeutic equipment, various modalities, and supportive administrative staff, enabling you to focus entirely on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and assess patients' orthopedic conditions through comprehensive evaluations.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient goals, ensuring an effective and holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities to enhance mobility and function, including but not limited to manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Educate patients about their conditions and the importance of adherence to prescribed exercise regimens, as well as lifestyle modifications for ongoing health.
• Provide clear motivation and support for patients throughout their recovery journey, fostering a positive rehabilitation experience.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs and adjust approaches as necessary to maximize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic focuses primarily on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse group of individuals ranging from athletes to seniors, each requiring tailored interventions to facilitate their unique recovery processes. Your ability to motivate and connect with patients will be crucial in their journey toward improved function and health.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong competency in manual therapy techniques and orthopedic rehabilitation principles.
• Exceptional skills in creating and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Web PT, for precise and efficient documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy practices and techniques, supported by current research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate patient engagement and teamwork.
• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding varying rehabilitation goals.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000–$120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
