Position Summary

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a great employee experience? Join our Human Resources team as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant, where you'll play an important role in welcoming new team members and supporting the daily operations of HR. From coordinating onboarding to maintaining employee records, you'll help ensure every employee's journey starts off on the right foot while providing exceptional administrative support to the HR team.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Complete and verify Form I-9 employment eligibility documentation in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Maintain housing occupancy spreadsheet.
  • Troubleshoot ADP onboarding tasks with new hires.
  • Utilize E-Verify (if applicable) to confirm employment eligibility.
  • Prepare new hire paperwork and ensure all employment documents are completed accurately.
  • Maintain confidential employee personnel files and HR records.
  • Process employee status changes including promotions, transfers, pay changes, and separations.
  • Assist employees with HR-related questions regarding company policies, benefits, payroll, and employment documentation.
  • Prepare employee ID badges, uniforms, locker assignments, and other onboarding materials as needed.
  • Support benefits enrollment and assist employees with benefit-related paperwork.
  • Monitor compliance with required training and certifications.
  • Track and maintain personnel files to ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Assist with workers' compensation paperwork and accident reporting.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs and assist with engagement activities and events.
  • Maintain HR office supplies, forms, and administrative materials.
  • Generate HR reports and assist with audits and recordkeeping.
  • Answer phones, greet employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with special HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of administrative or Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Experience with onboarding, employment documentation, and I-9 verification strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP, Paycom, or similar software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to walk around the Resort in the elements as needed.
  • Frequent use of computers and standard office equipment.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to walk throughout the property to assist employees and departments.
  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and complete administrative tasks.
