Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings tailored to the needs of patients experiencing pain, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their conditions.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for acute and chronic pain conditions, including the prescription of medications and referrals to other specialists when necessary.
• Implement patient-centered care strategies that encompass physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being, promoting holistic healing.
• Engage actively with local community organizations to design and facilitate health education programs that foster awareness about pain management and prevention.
• Provide culturally competent care, advocating for patients’ rights and equitable access to healthcare services.

Qualifications

• An active Nurse Practitioner certification and a valid nursing license in the state of New Jersey.
• A Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution with specialized training in pain management or related fields.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably gained in community health or pain management settings.

Compensation and Benefits
