Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms and their impact on daily functioning, including the frequency and duration of these symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their therapeutic goals, preferences, and individual circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address specific emotional and behavioral issues.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment strategies, and self-care routines to foster empowerment and understanding.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective interventions and support.

• Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork by coordinating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with various vulnerable groups, including individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, providing essential support to those facing significant life challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
