This position offers a unique opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients across Dunnellon and beyond. As a telehealth provider, you will engage with clients through virtual sessions, employing secure and user-friendly digital platforms. Working remotely allows for flexible scheduling, while still adhering to standard office hours, specifically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to meet the unique needs of clients seeking to manage stress and anxiety.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments during initial client engagements to identify stressors, emotional triggers, and personalized goals.
\n
• Guide clients in mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques that promote self-awareness and emotional balance.
\n
• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness, stress management, and techniques designed to build resilience.
\n
• Incorporate mindfulness principles into individual therapy sessions, ensuring that each client's mental health challenges are effectively addressed.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the integration of mindfulness within the broader treatment framework.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes using our secure electronic health record system.

• Dedicate time to personal mindfulness practice and professional development, including participating in training related to MBSR and other mindfulness methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your role involves creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters openness, allowing clients to feel comfortable sharing their experiences and working collaboratively towards meaningful change.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred and will enhance the competitiveness of your application.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Florida.

• A passion for working with mindfulness-based approaches and integrating them into therapeutic practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for building strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling, with demonstrated proficiency in mindfulness-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
