Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility while maintaining a supportive structure through our outpatient office environment. You’ll engage in individual counseling sessions, participate in team meetings, and collaborate with colleagues via virtual platforms. The role features a predictable schedule, allowing you to work from Monday to Friday without evening or weekend commitments, thus facilitating a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and available options, laying the foundation for personalized treatment plans.

• Design and implement specific rehabilitation strategies based on each client’s individual educational background, skills, abilities, and vocational aspirations, adjusting them as needed throughout treatment.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and additional mental health professionals, to tailor rehabilitation programs that meet the unique needs of each individual.

• Maintain accurate and detailed case files, documenting personal information, eligibility, insurance details, treatment provided, and ongoing client communication narratives.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress consistently to assess achievement of goals, analyzing outcomes and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
\n
• Engage with clients regularly during their participation in job training and placement programs, addressing placement challenges swiftly to support their success.
\n
• Work alongside clients' families and friends to create practical solutions to support the individual's therapeutic goals.
\n
• Evaluate client needs comprehensively and generate timely reports on their progress and requirements.
\n
• As warranted, offer expert advice and direct clients to relevant additional resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse clientele who may be experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other emotional challenges. Whether in individual therapy or in collaboration with families, your approach will be both compassionate and evidence-based, ensuring that each client feels supported and understood.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marital and family therapy from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
\n
• A demonstrated history of providing mental health treatment to individuals with mood and mental disorders, ideally in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
\n
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for inspiring and facilitating positive change in clients' lives.
\n
• Strong clinical skills in modalities such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), along with meticulous documentation practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in job coaching or vocational rehabilitation strategies would be advantageous.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and client management.

• Previous experience working within a team-based care environment.
