Department Information College of Lifetime Learning The Georgia Tech College of Lifetime Learning is a research-driven academic college advancing learning across the full arc of life. We integrate academic rigor, workforce-aligned learning, and flexible pathways to serve learners at every stage, from early exploration through advanced study and professional reinvention. Job Summary Oversee administrative and logistical support to assigned degreed and/or non-degreed academic program offerings of an Institute academic unit. Facilitate the various actions required to successfully offer and conduct academic programs. These actions may range from student recruitment and retention to program development. May be responsible for setting employee goals, assessing performance and providing feedback and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: academic administrators, faculty members, prospective students, enrolled students. This position typically will advise and counsel: prospects, students. This position will supervise: May supervise academic advising and administrative staff members. Responsibilities Coordinate the application process through response to prospect inquires, scheduling interviews, maintaining applicant records, etc. Oversee student recruitment/program promotional event preparation. Supervise/provide advice for students and prospective students regarding assigned program offerings and academic progress. Prepare and disseminate communications materials regarding programs. Develop and administer program budget. Prepare reports related to program performance. Review program processes and procedures, recommend modifications as appropriate. May plan and supervise daily staff work activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Academic Affairs, Business Management, Education or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Experience Five to six years of job-related experience Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Educational Leadership, Business Administration, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field. Preferred Experience Two to four years of professional experience in higher education, academic program administration, student services, admissions, advising, enrollment management, workforce education, or a related field. Experience coordinating projects, programs, events, or student-facing processes. Experience working with databases, CRM systems, student information systems, or related technology platforms. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders while maintaining a high level of customer service. Experience supporting graduate, professional, online, or hybrid academic programs. Experience using higher education technologies such as Slate, Salesforce, Banner, DegreeWorks, Canvas, or similar systems. Experience developing reports, analyzing program performance metrics, and supporting data-informed decision-making. Experience working collaboratively across multiple academic and administrative units within a higher education environment. Serve as a primary support contact for prospective and current students, helping them navigate program questions, requirements, timelines, policies, and available resources. Coordinate recruitment, admissions, orientation, advising, career-related student support activities, and ongoing student engagement initiatives for assigned degree programs. Prepare and distribute clear student-facing and program-facing communications, including FAQs, announcements, reminders, process guides, event communications, and program updates. Track and maintain applicant, student, and program records in designated systems (e.g., Slate, Salesforce, student information systems, and related platforms), ensuring accurate and timely documentation of program activity and student interactions. Assist with data collection, reporting, and analysis related to enrollment, retention, student engagement, and program performance to support academic leadership, program assessment, and strategic planning. Help build, document, maintain, and improve repeatable processes that support effective program administration and a consistent learner experience. Collaborate with academic leaders, faculty, advising and student services teams, career services, marketing and recruitment teams, registrar-related functions, and internal operations partners to provide coordinated support for students and programs. Support student success initiatives throughout the learner lifecycle, including recruitment, admission, progression, completion, and career advancement. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs simultaneously. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, exercise sound judgment, take initiative, solve problems, and contribute to process improvement efforts. Proficiency in learning and utilizing technology platforms, student information systems, CRM tools, reporting applications, and collaboration technologies that support program administration and student success. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret and communicate program-related data and trends. Collaborative approach to working across academic, operational, recruitment, advising, career services, and student support functions.
