• Tuesday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Total Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Caregiver/Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist a client in Elkins Park, PA. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on support and ensure the safety and well-being of the client at all times.

Client Needs & Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility; client uses a walker
• Provide supervision at all times (client has Alzheimer's and may wander)
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
  • Bathing
  • Dressing
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and ensure a safe environment

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or working with clients with Alzheimer's/dementia preferred
• Patient, attentive, and compassionate
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions
• Must be able to assist with mobility support
