Locum Physician - Oncology

**Provider Coverage Details**

The provider will cover multiple locations with the following schedule:

- **Winchester**: Coverage will occur on Wednesdays.

- **Hagerstown**: Coverage will take place twice monthly, specifically on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays. 

**Work Schedule**: - The provider will work regular hours from Tuesday to Friday, with Mondays designated as a day off or for administrative tasks. Hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

- **Night Call**: The specific schedule is to be determined, including responsibilities as both primary and backup for the Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). When the physician is on call, they need to be available by phone; the APP will notify them if an on-site presence is required.

- **Weekend Call**: The schedule is also to be determined, currently anticipated from Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM as part of a rotation.

**Patient Load**: The clinic anticipates a patient volume of 18-20 cases per day, with a case mix approximately comprising 35% hematology and 65% oncology.

**Position Requirements**:

- **Coverage Duration**: Seeking a full-time locum tenens provider to commit to 4 weeks of coverage monthly and actively participate in the call rotation.

- **Licensure**: Candidates must possess an active Indiana state license or an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) certification.

- **Board Certification**: Applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible, with certification obtained within 5 years post-residency.

- **Experience**: A minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience is required.

- **Vaccination Requirements**: COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are mandatory unless a medical or religious exemption is provided.

- **Certifications**: Current ACLS certification is required for those requesting conscious sedation privileges, along with BLS certification which is mandatory for all specialties.

**Telemedicine**: Not applicable in this position.

**Documentation**: Case logs will be required throughout the coverage period.
