Job Overview:
The Administrative Assistant assists with the coordination of Quality Resource Services activities, including meeting management, data management, communication of incoming and outgoing information, and organization of events.
Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments i.e.
damaged floors, walls, ceiling tiles, unsecured areas, and medical errors, etc.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 5 Years of Experience in a Healthcare Setting
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree
- Experience Assisting Hospital Administration
Scheduling Requirements:
- 7:30am-4:00pm
- Monday-Friday
- Full Time
Essential Functions:
- Answer phones, receive and send electronic communication
- Maintain calendars for Vice President and Directors
- Assist with presentations, meeting preparations, correspondence, and all projects assigned
- Comply with HIPPA and Corporate Compliance policies and procedures
- Cross train within the department to support operations of Quality Resource Services
- Establish and maintain positive professional communications with the Medical Staff, Administration, Nursing staff, other hospital departments, and related health organizations
- Keep Time and Attendance for department personnel
- Always maintain privacy and confidentiality
- Organize and manage meetings, regulatory survey activity and social functions
- Prepare documents and take minutes for meetings
- Maintain files
- May perform other duties as assigned or directed by management
