Marketing & Business Development Manager A leading international professional services firm is seeking a commercially minded Marketing & Business Development Manager to support high-profile regulatory, government-facing, and sector-focused practice groups. This is a senior strategic, hands-on role working closely with senior stakeholders to drive growth initiatives, strengthen client relationships, and deliver impactful marketing and business development activity across complex and fast-moving practice areas. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping and executing business development plans, managing strategic pursuits and pitches, delivering integrated marketing campaigns, and supporting client engagement initiatives across a global platform. Key Responsibilities Partner with practice leaders to develop and execute strategic business development and marketing plans Manage pitches, proposals, RFPs, credentials, and directory submissions Lead and coordinate client development initiatives and targeted growth campaigns Deliver integrated marketing activity including events, webinars, thought leadership, and profile-raising initiatives Conduct market, client, and competitor research to support strategic decision-making Manage budgets, track ROI, and report on campaign and BD performance Collaborate across international teams and senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment About You 7+ years’ marketing and business development experience within a law firm or professional services environment Strong experience supporting regulatory, government-facing, public policy, or complex sector-based practices preferred Proven ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives and influence senior stakeholders Exceptional written communication, project management, and organizational skills Commercially aware, proactive, and highly collaborative approach Experience with pitches, client development, campaigns, and profile-raising activity Confident operating in fast-paced, politically sensitive, and high-performing environments This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced M&BD professional looking to join a globally respected organization and work on sophisticated, high-impact practice areas with significant visibility across the business. The anticipated salary range for this position is between $150,000 - $200,000 dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, candidate experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and market considerations.
