Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Travel RN for our Med/Surg unit, specializing in pain management and post-operative care. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and administer medications as prescribed.
- Perform wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members for effective patient management.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions; report changes to the charge nurse.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 1-year current hospital Med/Surg experience.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience in burn care, wound care, and ostomy care is a plus.
