Senior Operations Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Operations Consultant with experience in operations enhancement and procurement from a consulting background. This position is ideal for a consultant who has integrated AI into client projects and can showcase how AI tools have boosted analysis, decision-making, implementation, or operational outcomes.The ideal candidate should have a background in an established consulting firm that focuses on operations improvement and procurement or strategic sourcing projects.This role is remote with the requirement of easy access to a major airport. Travel typically commences on Sundays or Mondays during active projects, with consultants returning on Thursdays and working remotely on Fridays.ResponsibilitiesLead operations and procurement enhancement projects at client sitesAnalyze performance in manufacturing, plant operations, warehouses, supply chain, equipment, and sourcingUtilize AI tools to uncover opportunities, speed up analysis, solve operational issues, and aid in implementationCreate actionable suggestions backed by thorough operational and financial analysisCollaborate with client executives and frontline staff to implement improvementsOversee project workstreams, deliverables, timelines, and measurable outcomesRequirementsRecent involvement in a well-known operations-focused consulting firmDemonstrated experience in procurement or strategic sourcing consultingHands-on experience in enhancing operations within manufacturing, supply chain, plants, warehouses, or distribution settingsProven track record of applying AI in consulting projects, operational analysis, or business enhancement initiativesStrong analytical, client-facing, and implementation capabilitiesCapability to travel around 80% during active projectsExperience with corporate-only, GPO, contract, or independent consulting does not satisfy the consulting background required for this roleMust be legally eligible to work in the US without need for employer sponsorship
