Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one meetings with clients, family members, and significant others to ensure a collaborative approach to mental health care.

• Provide psychoeducation on perinatal mental health and develop customized treatment plans to address individual needs.

• Engage with clients in psychosocial assessments and assist with treatment planning, meticulously documenting client progress and outcomes.

• Facilitate and lead consumer support groups, fostering an environment of belonging and shared experience.

• Coordinate effectively with local agencies, developmental centers, and civic organizations, advocating for consumer needs and resource accessibility.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards set by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.

• Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance personal development and clinical practices.

• Proactively establish connections with referral sources, generating intake referrals from both inpatient facilities and community programs.

• Support volunteers and interns while planning and implementing center activities tailored to individual client needs.

• Perform daily administrative tasks efficiently, ensuring compliance with JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals experiencing perinatal mental health challenges, including postpartum depression, anxiety, and related disorders. Our counseling services aim to empower clients through education, providing a safe space for them to discuss their mental health, resolve issues, and enhance their overall well-being. You will work with a diverse array of clients who may also present with varying levels of social service needs.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Social Work License in accordance with state regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) is mandatory.
