Procurement Administrator

About the Role Our client is seeking a highly organized and efficient Procurement Administrator to join their procurement team in Paarl . This role is critical for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the procurement function. You will manage administrative tasks, maintain procurement records, process purchase orders, and liaise with suppliers and internal departments. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within a busy office environment. Be a key player in maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain. Key Responsibilities Process purchase requisitions and generate accurate purchase orders in a timely manner. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier information. Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, deliveries, and any discrepancies. Liaise with internal departments to clarify purchasing needs and ensure efficient order fulfillment. Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and data analysis. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Requirements A relevant qualification in administration, business, or supply chain management. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or procurement support role. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with procurement software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
