Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual goals, needs, and challenges in their rehabilitation journey.
• Efficiently manage your caseload with the capacity to treat one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality care and precise progress monitoring.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that may incorporate a variety of evidence-based modalities and therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and rehabilitation exercises.
• Motivate and encourage patients during therapy sessions, fostering a positive environment to enhance their commitment to recovery.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment strategies and adjust plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
• Document all services provided with meticulous attention to detail in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring clarity and connectivity in patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to design comprehensive care plans that encompass both physical and emotional health.
• Advocate for non-pharmaceutical interventions while aiming to reduce the need for surgical procedures where appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our orthopedic outpatient practice, you'll work primarily with patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. Our patient population varies from athletes seeking to return to their optimal performance levels to older adults requiring support for mobility challenges. Each interaction is tailored to meet their unique needs, ensuring a personalized and effective rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure foundational knowledge and advanced practice capabilities.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California with an unblemished record, ensuring your qualifications align with state regulations.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practice and the ability to perform comprehensive assessments that inform treatment design.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, providing familiarity with common conditions and treatment strategies.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques is highly desirable, elevating the level of care offered to patients.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, especially platforms such as WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
