Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced orthopedic outpatient clinic where our focus is exclusively on providing personalized therapy and rehabilitation. As part of a supportive team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will engage with patients in a nurturing setting designed to promote healing and wellness. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a consistent routine while allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient goals and needs to deliver tailored treatment.
• Manage a patient caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, applying effective therapeutic techniques.
• Create and implement individual care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment modalities.
• Provide evidence-based interventions aimed at improving motion and mobility.
• Encourage patients through their rehabilitation journeys to achieve optimal function and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure results align with patient goals.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle through fitness and wellness-oriented programs focused on building strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Document patient care services meticulously to maintain accurate health records and contribute to ongoing patient assessment.
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with orthopedic conditions requiring outpatient therapy. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from those recovering from sports injuries to individuals undergoing post-operative rehabilitation. Understanding the unique needs of each patient will guide you in delivering personalized, effective care strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist License in the State of California, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in therapeutic exercises.
• Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience working specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• A track record of implementing successful treatment plans leading to measurable patient outcomes.
• Experience working in a high-volume clinic while maintaining quality care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
