Capital Life Orthopedics is a forward-thinking outpatient physical therapy practice that operates from a state-of-the-art 5000 square foot facility—comprised mainly of sports medicine-focused rehabilitation. Our practice prioritizes high-quality care, and we are proud to serve a diverse patient base, primarily covered by private medical insurance. Our team consists of experienced physical therapists and assistants who share a commitment to evidence-based practices and personalized patient care.

Work Environment

This full-time role requires an onsite presence in our outpatient office located in vibrant Santa Ana, California. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. This collaborative environment encourages teamwork among our staff of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all dedicated to delivering excellent patient care and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations to recognize and understand individual patient goals, needs, and overall health status.
• Patient Load Management: Maintain an efficient schedule by managing a caseload of one patient per hour, allowing for focused and personalized treatment sessions.
• Treatment Planning: Develop customized care plans utilizing a combination of therapeutic techniques and modalities tailored to meet specific patient requirements.
• Cost-Effective Interventions: Employ non-invasive treatment strategies aimed at minimizing reliance on medications and providing alternatives to surgical interventions.
• Fitness and Wellness Programs: Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's unique needs and recovery goals.
• Patient Motivation: Inspire and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, facilitating progress and empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate treatment effects, document progress, and maintain transparent communication with patients regarding their rehabilitation journey.
• Service Documentation: Accurately document all patient services provided to ensure a high standard of care and compliance with professional guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Capital Life Orthopedics, we primarily cater to patients undergoing rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions, predominantly drawn from an orthopedic background. Our client demographic includes a diverse range of ages and activity levels, presenting unique challenges and requiring customized intervention strategies. The practice's focus on sports medicine means we also support athletes in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid Physical Therapist license to practice in California.
• No documented instances of board actions or disciplinary measures against the license.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of orthopedic principles.
• Ability to design and implement effective exercise programs catering to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including proficiency in WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and conditions specific to sports injuries.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully developing and executing patient-centered care plans.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
