Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist for a full-time position in our facility located in Fullerton, California. We stress the importance of personalized care, allowing each of our two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work closely with patients, ensuring comprehensive and patient-centered care.

Work Environment

The physical therapist will work in a vibrant outpatient clinical setting, where collaboration and teamwork are highly encouraged. Our close-knit group values educational growth and utilizes modern treatment techniques that align with best practices in physical therapy. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing a stable and predictable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and goals in a clinical setting.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring alignment with the patients' recovery objectives.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and promote healing.
• Monitor and document patient progress effectively, adjusting treatments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate and empower patients about their conditions and the importance of home exercise regimens, encouraging self-management of health.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and referral services when needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records using EMR software platforms, such as WebPT.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and quality attention during each treatment session.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals insured by private medical plans, including athletes and active adults looking to recover from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, or chronic pain management. Our facility specializes in catering to orthopedic needs, ensuring that our therapists have the knowledge and resources to address a wide range of orthopedic conditions effectively.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A clean professional record with no reported disciplinary actions.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and treatment modalities relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Competence in developing and executing personalized exercise programs for patients.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and support patients through their recovery journeys.
• Prior involvement in developing wellness and preventive care programs that have resulted in improved patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
