Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our fully equipped rehabilitation center, where you will work alongside a team of two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our modern facility is designed to promote the highest standard of care, featuring advanced therapeutic equipment and treatment areas dedicated to various rehabilitation needs. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess the physical capabilities and conditions of patients to establish and fulfill individualized treatment goals.
• Maintain a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care tailored to each individual's needs.
• Draw from your experience in orthopedic outpatient settings to provide cost-effective therapies aimed at enhancing patient mobility and functionality.
• Minimize dependence on medication by proposing evidence-based non-surgical interventions.
• Develop and implement detailed treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Design custom fitness and wellness programs that align with the specific rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Deliver high-quality, individualized care grounded in proven clinical practices and the latest research in physical therapy.
• Encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, motivating them to achieve improved functionality and independence.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices through improvement in strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care is delivered, and maintain clear communication regarding patient progress.
• Regularly document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately for ongoing assessment and care continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily caters to individuals with private medical insurance, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation and post-surgical recovery. You will work with a diverse patient population that includes athletes seeking to regain peak performance, seniors recovering from joint replacements, and individuals recovering from injuries. Your role is critical in facilitating their recovery and helping them return to their daily activities and recreational pursuits.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Good standing with no history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques to effectively address patient needs.
• Skilled in designing and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual recovery goals.
• Experienced in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of sports medicine principles related to injury prevention and recovery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex caseloads and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits
