Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position at Strive Rehabilitation Services is primarily onsite within our rehabilitation facility in Anaheim. You will be part of a dynamic team of health professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides, all dedicated to fostering a positive and empowering atmosphere for both staff and patients. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a better work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving their goals.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring high-quality, focused care that maximizes therapeutic outcomes.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to promote optimal recovery.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs based on each patient's specific requirements and capabilities.
• Educate and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, empowering them to actively participate in their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Document treatment services meticulously, ensuring accurate records are maintained in our EMR system, including familiarity with software such as WebPT.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effects, adjusting care plans as necessary to promote continued progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient demographic consists of individuals covered by private medical insurance, which allows us to focus on providing personalized, high-quality therapy interventions. As an orthopedic outpatient practice, many of our patients are recovering from surgical procedures or managing chronic orthopedic conditions. You will play a pivotal role in helping them regain their independence and functionality, fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages their recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing effective exercise routines tailored to individual needs.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Experience in utilizing EMR software, specifically WebPT, to document patient interactions and care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Knowledge of current treatment trends, evidence-based practices, and rehabilitation protocols.
• Experience in developing innovative fitness and wellness programs to support broad-spectrum rehabilitation needs.

Compensation and Benefits
