Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position requires onsite engagement in a collaborative setting, providing direct patient care in a welcoming and supportive environment. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), dedicated to fostering teamwork and professional growth. You will be part of an organization that values every employee's input and encourages a positive work-life balance, with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify and address patients' goals and requirements, creating a caring and supportive environment.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, seeing one patient per hour to ensure focused and quality treatment.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols designed to reduce pain and improve mobility, prioritizing cost-effective alternatives to surgery.
• Develop and guide comprehensive care plans that incorporate various treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise regimens tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging them to adopt healthy lifestyle choices that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document patient care services meticulously, maintaining clear communication with both patients and the rest of the healthcare team regarding progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate and consult with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to treatment and recovery.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, making necessary adjustments to care plans as needed to optimize patient recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your role will be working with patients in an orthopedic outpatient setting, primarily consisting of individuals recovering from injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic pain conditions. You will assist patients of varying ages, providing tailored rehabilitation approaches that acknowledge their unique challenges and goals for recovery.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and have a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining an untarnished professional record with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and extensive experience in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols.
• Strong familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of various treatment methodologies and rehabilitation tools to enhance patient outcomes.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
