Work Environment

This is an onsite position within a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, including two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). You will work in a vibrant rehabilitation setting that encourages interaction and teamwork among staff members to provide the best patient outcomes. With a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., this role supports a work-life balance while ensuring you have dedicated time to focus on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and set achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized treatment plans.
• Design and implement customized intervention strategies aimed at improving mobility and overall function.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Engage patients through motivational techniques and education to promote adherence to therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance holistic patient care.
• Adhere to a strong focus on preventive care, helping patients minimize medication reliance and consider non-surgical options.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on orthopedic patients seeking rehabilitation services following injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. The diverse patient demographic you will encounter includes athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-operative patients looking to regain function, and individuals striving to improve their day-to-day mobility. This varied caseload presents the opportunity to apply your knowledge in orthopedic rehabilitation and continuously learn from each unique case.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid California State Physical Therapy License is mandatory.
• No prior disciplinary actions have been taken against the physical therapy license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a solid foundation in rehabilitation techniques.
• Your effectiveness in building exercise routines tailored to varying patient needs is essential.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly with WebPT or similar software, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy is highly desirable.
• Experience creating specialized wellness and fitness programs tailored to individual patient goals.
• Familiarity with current rehabilitation trends and practices, as well as continuous professional development through workshops or seminars.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive annual salary ranging between USD 100,000 and 125,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
