Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Fullerton, California. The environment is designed to promote healing and wellness, equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and tools. As part of a dedicated team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will collaborate closely on patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual goals.
• Manage a dedicated caseload, typically treating one patient per hour, that focuses on high-quality, individualized therapy sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to provide effective treatment interventions aimed at improving patients' mobility and functionality.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique needs of each patient, encouraging strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document patient care services meticulously, ensuring accurate records of treatments and progress are maintained using EMR software, specifically WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Update treatment protocols based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring that care remains relevant and effective.
• Motivate patients consistently through their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Promote the reduction of medication reliance and provide alternatives to surgical interventions through targeted rehabilitation strategies.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. You will work closely with individuals seeking to reclaim their functional independence and enhance their quality of life. Our patient demographics include athletes, elderly individuals, and those recovering from injuries or surgeries, which allows you to engage with a varied clientele and utilize diverse treatment approaches.

Qualifications

• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist is required, with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated skill in crafting and implementing exercise protocols tailored to individual needs.
• Experience in utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation and management.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with your healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred, showcasing your ability to manage varied cases effectively.
• Demonstrated aptitude for improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices and innovative therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 , commensurate with experience.
