Position Overview

Peak Performance Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Anaheim, California. In this full-time role, you will work in a patient-focused outpatient rehabilitation center, applying evidence-based practices to help individuals recover and enhance their mobility and quality of life. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for patient assessments, care planning, and delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' specific goals, limitations, and needs, ensuring customized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, managing a patient caseload of one individual per hour to deliver personalized care.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, exercise techniques, and manual therapy methods to aid in pain relief and mobility restoration.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that address the multifaceted needs of each patient, incorporating intervention strategies and rehabilitation exercises.
• Educate patients about their conditions, the therapeutic process, and self-care strategies to foster independence and sustain progress long-term.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress to adhere to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular evaluations of treatment effectiveness and modify care plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to create an integrated approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients to engage in their rehabilitation journey and promote a lifestyle of wellness through education and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their mobility and overall quality of life. You will engage with a diverse population, including athletes, active adults, and seniors, each requiring tailored intervention strategies to address their unique rehabilitation needs and health goals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Hold a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective patient and team interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and the latest physical therapy interventions is advantageous.
• Experience in working with diverse patient populations and the ability to adjust approaches to patient-centered care accordingly.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits include:
