Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Outpatient Services

We are looking for a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Flexi-motion Rehab and Wellness Center in Santa Ana, California. This full-time position demands a compassionate professional who is committed to helping our patients regain their mobility and improve their overall function. You will play a vital role in promoting health through prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation, ensuring that each patient has the best possible quality of life.

Flexi-motion Rehab and Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art outpatient physical therapy facility, specializing in orthopedic care. Located in the heart of Santa Ana, we have a spacious, 5000 square foot facility equipped with the latest technology for sports medicine and rehabilitation. Our team consists of highly trained physical therapists and physical therapist assistants who pride themselves on delivering exceptional, patient-centered care, predominantly to individuals with private medical insurance.

Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our outpatient office, where collaboration is key. You will work alongside two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, sharing knowledge and techniques that promote our mission of improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life routine. This role comes with substantial responsibility coupled with the satisfaction of making a real difference in our patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that may include a range of therapeutic interventions, exercise regimens, and manual therapy techniques.
• Manage a caseload of patients, targeting an efficient throughput of one patient per hour, ensuring quality care and effective outcomes.
• Utilize EMR software platforms, particularly WebPT, for documenting patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Monitor treatment progress and adjust care plans based on real-time performance and patient feedback.
• Communicate openly and collaboratively with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for our patients.
• Educate patients on mobility strategies and alternate solutions to medications or surgeries, aiming to empower them in their recovery process.
• Inspire and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, promoting health and wellness through strength-building, flexibility, balance, and coordination exercises.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients receiving outpatient rehabilitation. This demographic includes individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions affecting their mobility and functionality. You will have the opportunity to impact their lives positively, guiding them through tailored rehabilitation plans that foster their recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Exhibit proficiency in designing and implementing exercise regimens tailored to the individual needs of patients.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient practice, with demonstrable expertise in manual therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with EMR software platforms, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We are proud to offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
