Work Environment

In our onsite rehabilitation center, you will collaborate with a committed team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) in a progressive workplace offering modern therapies and methodologies. The facility emphasizes an evidence-based approach to rehabilitation, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and effective treatment. Work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured and predictable schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments to identify objectives and develop personalized care plans.
• Deliver one-on-one sessions, managing a patient load of one per hour to ensure focused and attentive care.
• Utilize various treatment techniques to enhance patients' movement and alleviate pain, while aiming to reduce reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Implement and monitor fitness and wellness programs tailored to the individual needs of each patient, promoting safe recovery and improvement.
• Provide evidence-based interventions and employ manual therapy techniques to achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously to ensure continuity of care and effective communication among team members.
• Assess patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary, maintaining open dialogue with patients to motivate and support them throughout their recovery journey.
• Engage in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a valid California Physical Therapist license, with no disciplinary actions recorded against it.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a demonstrated proficiency in creating and executing exercise regimens that promote recovery.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT or similar platforms, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy settings is highly regarded.
• A background in sports medicine or rehabilitation programs can greatly enhance your contribution.
• Familiarity with contemporary treatment methodologies and a passion for continuing education in the field of physical therapy will set candidates apart.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
