Optimal Recovery Psychotherapy LTD. is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist for a full-time position in our Santa Ana, California outpatient facility. In this role, you will play an essential part in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, helping them restore mobility and enhance their overall functionality. By focusing on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation, you will support our mission to improve the quality of life for our patients.

Optimal Recovery Psychotherapy LTD. is a PT-owned practice that prides itself on delivering top-notch, personalized care in our state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet sports medicine facility. We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, ensuring they have access to the highest level of care. Our team comprises two experienced physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who are passionate about patient outcomes and the application of evidence-based interventions.

Work Environment

This full-time position operates onsite, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Our outpatient office environment is well-equipped for effective patient treatment and provides a collaborative atmosphere where healthcare professionals work together to benefit patient care. Our facility features advanced therapeutic tools and technologies designed to enhance rehabilitation and treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and address each patient's unique goals and needs through tailored care plans.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, facilitating treatment for one patient each hour to ensure focused and effective therapy.
• Utilize your expertise to deliver cost-effective treatments that improve clients' range of motion and mobility.
• Educate patients about alternatives to surgery and medication, promoting strategies to aid recovery naturally.
• Create comprehensive care plans incorporating diverse treatment methodologies to address individual patient conditions.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs that foster physical health and enhance patient engagement.
• Document and monitor treatment outcomes rigorously, maintaining thorough records of patient care services.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensuring holistic treatment of all patients.
• Motivate and encourage patients as they progress through their rehabilitation, instilling confidence and promoting engagement.
• Enhance patients' overall health by promoting lifestyle changes that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility predominantly serves individuals dealing with orthopedic issues requiring rehabilitation. This includes patients recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your work will be pivotal in empowering these individuals to regain their independence and functionality, offering them a pathway to improved health and well-being.

Qualifications

• DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) from an accredited institution.
• A valid California license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record without any history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills, demonstrating proficiency in hands-on techniques.
• Exceptional capability to devise and implement effective exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to manage patient documentation and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

While we require experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, we value candidates who have worked with various age groups and conditions. A solid background involving direct patient care, especially in devising rehabilitation programs for sports injuries or post-operative recovery, will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
