Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients' physical conditions, including strength, flexibility, and mobility, to formulate individualized treatment plans aimed at maximizing recovery.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities based on best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications to encourage ongoing health and wellness.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement interdisciplinary treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Regularly document patient progress and outcomes in compliance with legal and organizational standards, ensuring clear communication within the clinical team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, serving a diverse patient demographic that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work directly with patients ranging from young athletes to active seniors, providing individualized care that supports their recovery and encourages a return to their daily activities and interests.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active California state license in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during treatment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• A commitment to professional growth and a passion for helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline patient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
