Key Responsibilities

• Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient's condition and medical history to design tailored treatment plans aligned with their individual needs and goals.
• Implementation of Treatment Plans: Utilize evidence-based manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as heat, cold, and ultrasound therapy to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Ongoing Assessment: Monitor patient progress continually, adjusting therapy protocols as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes and ensure the effectiveness of treatments.
• Patient Education: Educate patients about their conditions, provide guidance on home exercise programs, and foster a proactive mindset that empowers them in their rehabilitation journeys.
• Documentation: Keep meticulous records of patient sessions, including treatment details and progress notes, in compliance with clinic standards and regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to create an integrated approach to patient care that supports overall health and wellness.
• Patient Relationships: Build strong, trust-based relationships with patients, offering encouragement, motivation, and emotional support throughout their rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic outpatients facing various musculoskeletal issues, including post-surgical recovery from joint replacements or sports injuries, chronic pain management, and rehabilitation following trauma. Your role will be crucial in helping them regain mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active California state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Comprehensive knowledge of human physiology and anatomy specific to orthopedic practices.
• Proficiency in conducting functional assessments and designing customized rehabilitation plans.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation or working with patients recovering from surgical interventions.
• Demonstrated success in managing chronic pain conditions and providing patient-centered care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Benefit offerings include:
