TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Anaheim, California. Work Environment

This onsite position entails working in our modern rehabilitation facility located in Anaheim, California. The environment you will work in is collaborative and supportive, consisting of a close-knit team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our center is designed to facilitate various therapeutic modalities, enhancing patient treatment experiences. You will also be equipped with the latest tools and technology, including advanced electronic medical record (EMR) systems and rehabilitative equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities, developing individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
• Manage a steady caseload, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring focused and dedicated time for each individual's treatment.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and rehabilitation strategies to enhance patients' functional abilities, mitigate pain, and optimize movement.
• Design and personalize fitness and wellness programs that address the abilities and goals of each patient while motivating them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Utilize effective communication techniques to educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
• Regularly document patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and maintain clear and timely communication with other healthcare providers involved in patient care.
• Promote lifestyle changes that support recovery, such as strength-building exercises, flexibility training, balance work, and coordination improvement.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, injuries, and surgeries. We specialize in personalized outpatient care, drawing patients from diverse backgrounds who seek to rehabilitate or enhance their physical capabilities. Our team members are dedicated to building therapeutic relationships with clients, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery, and fostering long-term health and wellness.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of California.
• Earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated history of maintaining a clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques as well as developing effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with EMR software, with a preference for users of WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including communicating clearly with assistants and administrative staff.
• Skills in engaging with diverse patient demographics and a commitment to understanding cultural competency in therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary within the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, depending on experience.
