Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient's specific goals and requirements, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional limitations, establishing a strong foundation for intervention.
• Manage a caseload effectively, providing personalized one-on-one treatment sessions to each patient, focusing on maximizing their mobility and independence.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques to enhance recovery and reduce pain.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, expectations, and the importance of adherence to prescribed exercises and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate tightly with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to deliver comprehensive patient care strategies.
• Document all patient interactions and progress meticulously using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to ensure seamless care coordination and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes continuously, adjusting protocols as necessary to meet recovery milestones and enhance patient success.

At Active Living Orthopedic Facility, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients ranging from post-surgical individuals to those seeking preventive care. Our diverse patient demographic includes athletes recovering from sports injuries, older adults dealing with chronic conditions, and individuals managing pain through alternative therapeutic methods. The focus is on empowering patients to regain their independence through effective movement and wellness strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with an exemplary professional record free of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, with a proven ability to create and implement exercise protocols that benefit patient outcomes.
• Competence in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to facilitate effective documentation and care management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working within an orthopedic outpatient setting, with specific exposure to rehabilitation practices.
• Demonstrated success in managing a diverse caseload with varying complexities in patient presentations.
• Experience in developing wellness programs that address patient-specific goals while promoting a balance of strength, flexibility, and overall health.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Living Orthopedic Facility offers a competitive annual salary range of $100,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
