Position Overview

New Life Physical Therapy and Wellness Center is looking for a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Santa Ana, California. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in assisting patients on their journey to regain mobility and achieve their highest physical potential. As a Physical Therapist, your primary focus will be on enhancing quality of life and movement capabilities, by implementing effective strategies for treatment and rehabilitation in an orthopedic outpatient setting.

Our center is designed with modern amenities, featuring 5000 square feet of space, equipped with advanced sports medicine technologies. Our team is composed of skilled professionals who prioritize patient well-being and strive to create a supportive atmosphere for recovery. We serve primarily individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring personalized and attentive care.

Work Environment

This is an onsite opportunity, based in our Santa Ana rehabilitation center, where you will collaborate with a dynamic team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The work setting fosters teamwork and supports a culture of continuous learning and professional development. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a predictable schedule alongside ample opportunities to engage with patients and contribute to their recovery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop tailored treatment plans that address patient objectives and healthcare needs.
• Maintain a patient care load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused, effective treatment.
• Leverage evidence-based methodologies to deliver high-quality therapies that improve movement and function.
• Implement cost-effective non-surgical approaches, minimizing medication reliance where possible.
• Design and facilitate personalized fitness and wellness programs, boosting each patient's motivation and progress.
• Track and evaluate treatment outcomes using qualitative and quantitative data to ensure efficacy.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services and interventions provided to each patient.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. The patient demographic includes a wide range of ages and physical conditions, which requires adaptive treatment approaches. You will engage with a diverse patient population, focusing on restoring their functional abilities through various therapeutic interventions. Our emphasis on promoting wellness and preventative care enhances each patient's overall outcome and well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current physical therapy license in California, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating a hands-on approach to rehabilitation.
• Expertise in designing and executing exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desirable.
• Strong background in patient care, rehabilitation practices, and health promotion.
• Demonstrated skills in motivating patients and fostering a positive therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits
