This role offers the convenience of remote work while also allowing for collaboration with our in-office team when necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their specific goals, preferences, and treatment options.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Provide education to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and self-care strategies to foster an understanding of their mental health journey.

• Monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment, making necessary adjustments to their personalized plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to facilitate comprehensive care.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in mood disorder treatment through ongoing professional development and review of current literature.

• Maintain client records with accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and collaborative projects to enhance clinical skills and treatment strategies.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, promoting awareness and reducing stigma around mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Queens Cove, you will primarily work with individuals suffering from mood disorders such as depression, anxiety-related disorders, and bipolar disorder. Our diverse clientele ranges in age and background, allowing for a rich tapestry of therapeutic engagement. The focus will be on establishing a rapport with clients, helping them navigate their challenges with empathy and expertise.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• In-depth expertise in relevant, evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatry colleagues.

• Proven success in delivering treatment outcomes in the context of mood disorders and related challenges.

• Excellent communication skills to foster strong relationships with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinical setting with a focus on mood disorders is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
