Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' needs, symptoms, and risk factors, devising individualized treatment plans based on these evaluations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, addressing issues related to addiction, trauma, and co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster interpersonal skills, emotional regulation, and peer support among clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during high-stress moments, ensuring that clients feel safe and heard, and making referrals for additional resources when necessary.

• Engage in collaborative case planning with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to each client’s treatment and recovery.

• Document all client interactions and progress accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems, following legal and ethical guidelines.

• Maintain a current knowledge of mental health best practices, local regulations, and ethical standards to provide the best possible care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve clients seeking detoxification from substance abuse. Many individuals face co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression or anxiety, necessitating a multifaceted approach to treatment. Your expertise will be critical in helping these clients navigate their recovery while fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health, preferably with clients in detox or rehabilitation settings.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care principles.

• Proficiency in delivering both individual and group therapy, using a variety of evidence-based strategies.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to foster a trusting connection with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong organizational skills and comfort with technology, including EHR systems for documenting client care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with detox clients or in a substance abuse treatment context.

Compensation and Benefits\n
