Work Environment\n

This position will be primarily remote, focusing on providing mental health assistance within a school setting through virtual platforms. The work schedule typically spans Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends as needed to cover varying student mental health needs. Additionally, responsiveness to urgent situations may require on-call availability. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists and psychiatrists, will be fundamental to your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that consider students' personal histories, presenting issues, and any relevant risk factors, ensuring tailored and effective interventions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in partnership with students, focusing on emotional well-being and academic integration, while utilizing evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches.

• Facilitate crisis intervention, utilizing de-escalation strategies and determining necessary referrals, ensuring safety and support during mental health emergencies.

• Engage in psychoeducation for both students and their families, promoting understanding of mental health issues and connecting them with community resources.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
