Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role is primarily onsite, providing care directly in patients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement tailored treatment programs for patients, as referred by physicians, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique conditions.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment methodologies to address a diverse range of specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service, contributing to a positive patient experience that aligns with our core organizational values.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, leveraging collective expertise to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Provide in-home therapeutic interventions, applying physical therapy techniques that adhere to the physician's plan of care while promoting patient independence.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle modifications to facilitate ongoing recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Meet minimum utilization goals while aligning personal and organizational objectives to contribute to overall business success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Valleywise, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, as well as pediatric patients with developmental issues. Your role will be crucial in guiding patients through all phases of recovery, ensuring they receive effective, compassionate care tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience.
• Current certification in CPR.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and general computer skills to document patient progress and treatment plans efficiently.
• A commitment to building meaningful therapeutic relationships with patients and engaging positively with the community.

Preferred Experience

While the core requirements include a DPT and two years of experience, preference may be given to candidates with specialized training or certifications in areas such as pediatric physical therapy, sports rehabilitation, or neurological disorders. Additional experience in home health settings will also be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
