Product Marketing Manager

You're not just writing copy; you're building the playbook for how credit unions, retirement funds, and regional banks in America's Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities decide to trust AI Coworkers with their most regulated work.
What You'll Do In this role, you will:- Build the positioning, messaging, and narrative that make AI Coworkers make sense to credit union CEOs, retirement fund CIOs, and regional bank COOs who've never bought anything like this before
- Map the psyche of Tier 2/3 financial institutions, what they trust, what scares them, who actually holds the buying decision, and translate that into every word we put in front of them
- Identify and own the right channels to reach them: trade associations, regional banking conferences, credit union leagues, and niche publications, not the generic enterprise SaaS playbook
- Partner with Sales to arm the team with the collateral, case studies, and objection-handling that turn a skeptical regional bank into a believer
- Work directly with Product and Leadership to shape how TartanHQ's story evolves as we go deeper into these underserved segments
- Have 3+ years in product marketing or field marketing, ideally with exposure to community banks, credit unions, or other traditionally underserved financial institutions
- Understand how Tier 2/3 financial institutions actually make decisions, differently from how a Silicon Valley enterprise buyer does, and can translate that into positioning and messaging
- Are a sharp, clear writer who can make a new category, AI Coworkers in regulated financial services, legible to a buyer meeting it for the first time
- Know how to pick the right channel over the obvious one: a regional banking conference over a tech conference, a credit union league newsletter over a growth hack
- Thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, and are comfortable building the playbook from scratch rather than inheriting one
