Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations for clients, using evidence-based tools to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, utilizing diverse methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy tailored to clients' specific needs.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure the delivery of holistic care.

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines, legal regulations, and organizational policies.

• Continuously update knowledge of current research and advancements in the mental health field by participating in workshops and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Counselors are expected to adapt their approaches to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering a robust therapeutic alliance that promotes trust and openness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
