Entry Level People Engagement - Human ResourcesLocation: New York City (with support for teams in Austin, Miami and Los Angeles)Type: Full-time / On-SiteSalary: $50,000K - $60,000KAbout the Role:This is an ideal role for someone early in their People, HR, Employee Experience or People Operations career who enjoys supporting others in their career development, building relationships, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll work closely with leaders and employees across multiple locations, helping to coordinate key people processes, support engagement initiatives, and ensure employees have a great experience throughout their time with us.You'll be successful in this role if you can navigate changing priorities, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and bring structure and consistency to a growing organisation.You will need to enjoy bringing structure to complexity, improving processes, and making sure no detail gets missedWhat You'll Do:Employee Experience & Engagement:· Help coordinate employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture initiatives across our offices.· Support onboarding and offboarding processes working closely with other Operations teams to ensure a smooth employee experience.· Help with driving efforts to ensure that all new LHi'ers are successfully integrated into the business· Be an open and responsive first point of contact for employee questions and requests.· Assist with planning engagement surveys and seeking feedback from our people across the business· Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.· Support with our Buddy/Mentor Program to help enhance new starters' integration into the business.· Advocate for our LHi-IN initiatives which is the EDI programme run by the business.People Operations & Administration:· Coordinate day-to-day people administration and maintain accurate employee records.· Support key people processes including onboarding, benefits administration, employee lifecycle changes and documentation.· Assist with preparing reports, presentations and people-related communications.· Help ensure policies, procedures and employee information remain up to date.· Coordinate and track recurring people processes and deadlines.Systems & Process Improvement:· Maintain and update HR, benefits and people systems.· Help improve workflows, documentation and operating procedures.· Identify opportunities to make processes more efficient, scalable and employee friendly.· Support data accuracy and reporting activities.Communication & Collaboration:· Partner with managers and employees at all levels across New York, Austin, Miami and Los Angeles.· Draft clear, professional employee communications.· Help ensure information is communicated consistently and effectively across the business.· Represent LHi's culture and values in your work with teammates throughout the organization· Provide clear communication and onboarding guidance's to incoming new hires.About You:We're more interested in your potential, mindset and approach than a specific HR background.You are:· Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail.· Highly dependable and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.· Empathetic, approachable and emotionally intelligent.· Clear, confident and professional in both written and verbal communication.· Comfortable handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion.· Naturally proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks and projects.· Curious about how businesses operate and how great employee experiences are created.· Highly resourceful and actively seeks solutions and process improvements· Interested in systems, processes and finding better ways of working.· Comfortable working with people at all levels of an organisation.Preferred (But Not Essential):· Some experience in HR, People Operations, Employee Experience, Office Management, Recruiting Coordination, Administration or Business Operations.· Exposure to HRIS, payroll, benefits or employee engagement platforms.· A degree or qualification in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications or a related field.· Experience working in a fast-paced or growing organisation.What Success Looks Like:· Employees receive timely, helpful and professional support.· People processes run smoothly and accurately.· Engagement and culture initiatives are well organised and well received.· Managers trust you to follow through on commitments and keep things on track.· You contribute ideas that improve the employee experience and operational effectiveness of the People function.Why Join Us?This is an opportunity to build a career in People Engagement within a growing business where you'll gain broad exposure to employee experience, engagement, operations and HR.
