We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead the launch of an exciting, internationally recognized restaurant concept opening in the coming months.
This is a unique opportunity to join the brand before opening, gaining immersive training and firsthand leadership experience in New York while learning the company's culture, standards, and operations. As the brand continues its global expansion with established markets including London and future growth planned for Los Angeles. You'll play a key role in bringing this acclaimed concept to a new market.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, developing high-performing teams, and executing operational excellence. You will oversee all aspects of the restaurant's pre-opening and ongoing operations, including team recruitment and development, financial performance, service standards, and day-to-day leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all pre-opening and opening activities, ensuring a successful restaurant launch.
- Recruit, train, develop, and inspire a high-performing team.
- Drive operational excellence while maintaining the brand's service and quality standards.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, labor, inventory, and cost controls.
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on hospitality and employee development.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve operational challenges with professionalism.
- Partner with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives and support future expansion.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior restaurant leader in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent financial and operational management experience.
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Experience with restaurant openings is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel for pre-opening training.
